Welcome to another exciting school year at Columbus Preparatory & Fitness Academy! For those of you who are new to our family, my name is Jeff Luelleman and I am the principal here at CPFA. This is my fifth year as the building administrator for CPFA and I spent several years teaching Middle School Math and Science as well as being one of the lead teachers before that. We will spend this year preparing for success on the state assessments and ensuring that your child has what it takes to be successful throughout their time at CPFA, in high-school, college, and beyond! We have an exciting year planned and we thank you for giving us the opportunity to be a part of your extended family!
I am very eager to work with you and your child as we focus on success in academics and fitness. As you know our program has a strong academic core with 2 hours of reading instruction, 1 ½ hours of math instruction, 1 hour of social studies, 1 hour of science, and 1 hour of fitness daily! We work hard to ensure your child is successful in school.
- Our school day begins at 8:00 a.m. Please make sure your student is on time so they are not counted tardy.
- Our doors open at 7:30 a.m. and breakfast is served from open until 7:55 a.m.
- If you need to speak with your child’s teacher, please call the office to setup an appointment or you can email them directly.
- Dismissal begins at 4:00 – parents picking their child up at the end of the day will need to enter the south entrance of the parking lot near Dollar General. Please get in the car pickup lane and continue to drive north towards our gym. Please have your ID ready and stay in your car. We will bring your child(ren) out to you. Please be patient as we get to know everyone so we can safely bring your child to you.
If at any point during the school year you have questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to set up an appointment with me, email me, or call me directly! I am here for you and your child. Thank you for choosing us and I look forward to working with you this year!
